When we are in the hospital setting, we consult them for complicated situations, as laid out in our practice clinical guidelines. Clients with risk factors or complications during pregnancy will be evaluated by the perinatologists at Capital Health's Department of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and a plan of care formulated.
